About me
I am a freelance instructional designer, technical writer and web/Flash designer. I am a continuing eduction instructor at Temple University and a sometimes adjunct professor at Philadelphia University.
Over the years I've had many careers and only recently have come to realize that, while the tools have differed, my passion is communicating information.
Both online (or distance learning) and instructional design are big fields. With broadband Internet access growing exponentially, more individuals are looking to the Internet as a viable way to receive education and training.
With the ability to learn online, comes the issue of instructional design.
- How do people learn online?
- How do synchronous (two-way communication in real-time) and asynchronous (time lag among learners and instructors) learning methods differ?
- Can all programs be taught in a distance bearing environment?
- Can everyone learn in a distance learning environment?
