The Encyclopedia of Educational Technology resource may not entirely fit in this section, I think it is a very important web site for anyone involved with any area of training--traditional or distance--especially those new to the field. The encyclopedia covers a "variety of topics related to the fields of instructional design and education and training."
The web site can be searched for any training or instructional design term, or can be browsed through the table of contents. The short, dynamic articles are written by professionals within the industry.
From Discovered Learning to Gagne's Learning Theory to Measurment Packages or Virtual High Schools there is information for every trainer.
