William Horton Consulting

William Horton Consulting is an e-learning specialist that itself as "...consultants. We sell air. We prefer to think of it as advice, however." They specialize in e-learning, knowledge management, electronic information architecture and visual design.

William Horton, the owner of the company has written several books and numerous articles on making e-learning work more effectively. He is a fellow of the Society for Technical Communications, has a engineering degree from MIT, a master's degree in Computer Science, and is a Registered Professional Engineer (Horton, 2003).

The web site has great information on designing web-based training and converting traditional learning to the web. Horton tells of mistakes people make when converting to the web and how to make sure your e-learning is producing results.
